Refund Policy
Last updated 12 September 2026. Applies to every purchase made in War 2050.
All purchases are final. If you ask us for a refund we are not obliged to review your request, and if we do review it we decide the outcome at our sole discretion. Any refund we grant is a one-off act of discretion and creates no entitlement to another.
1. What you are buying
War Bonds are a virtual in-game currency. When you buy them you are buying a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use a feature of War 2050. You are not buying property, an asset, or anything with value outside this game.
War Bonds have no cash value. They cannot be sold, traded, gifted, transferred between accounts, or exchanged for money or anything else of value, by you or by anyone else. They exist only inside War 2050 and only for as long as War 2050 and your account exist.
2. All sales are final
Every purchase is final at the moment it completes. War Bonds are delivered to your account immediately, which means the thing you paid for has been supplied in full before you leave the checkout.
Spent Bonds are never refundable. Once you have used War Bonds — on a rental term, a research line, a march speed-up, or anything else — they are consumed. That includes rentals that have begun and time-limited benefits that have started running, whether or not you went on to make use of them.
3. Refunds are entirely at our discretion
We may, at our sole and absolute discretion, choose to grant a refund or a credit of in-game currency. We are under no obligation to do so, in any circumstance, and the following all apply:
- Submitting a complaint or a request does not guarantee that it will be reviewed. We decide which requests we look at.
- If we do review a request, we decide the outcome using our own judgement. We are not required to explain our reasoning, to apply any particular standard, or to reach the same decision we reached for someone else.
- Granting a refund once does not create a right, a precedent, or an expectation of a refund on any future occasion, for you or for anyone else.
- Declining a request is final. We do not operate an appeals process.
- We may, as a condition of any refund, reverse the purchased currency and anything obtained with it, and we may close or restrict the account.
4. You are responsible for purchases made on your account
By entering the game and choosing to provide payment card details, you accept sole responsibility for every purchase made through your account, whether or not you personally authorised each one. That includes purchases made by anyone who has access to your device, your browser session, or your account credentials, including members of your household and children.
Keep your password private and your device secured. If you share access to your account, you are accepting the purchases made on it.
Some purchases in this game can be made with fewer confirmation steps once you choose that setting — for example, march speed-ups, where you may opt to stop being asked to confirm for the rest of the day. Choosing that setting is your decision, and the purchases it enables are your responsibility.
5. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer rather than contacting us, we may immediately suspend or terminate your account, revoke all War Bonds and anything bought with them, and decline to provide the service to you in future. We may also recover any costs charged to us by the payment provider as a result.
6. Service changes, closure and the closed test
War 2050 is a live game under active development. We may change, rebalance, suspend, or permanently remove any item, feature, price, rental, or game mechanic at any time, including ones you have bought or spent currency on, without any obligation to refund or compensate you.
If we discontinue War 2050 or close your account for a breach of our rules, any unspent War Bonds are forfeited and are not refunded.
During any closed test, beta, or promotional period, currency issued to you at no charge is not a purchase, carries none of the rights in this policy, and may be removed or reset at any time.
7. Errors
If a technical fault on our side takes payment without delivering currency, or charges you more than the advertised price, contact us and we will correct it. That is a correction of an error, not a refund, and it is the one case where we will always act.
8. Your legal rights
Nothing in this policy removes a right you have under the law where you live that cannot be removed by agreement. Where consumer protection law grants you a mandatory right — for example a statutory right to cancel a purchase of digital content within a set period — that right applies regardless of anything written above, and the rest of this policy continues to apply to everything else.
Where the law allows you to waive a cancellation right in exchange for immediate delivery, you do so at checkout by asking us to deliver your War Bonds straight away and acknowledging that you lose that right once we do.
If you bought through a third-party platform or store, that platform's own refund rules apply to the transaction and you should raise it with them.
9. Contact
Refund enquiries: support@war2050.com. Include the account name and the approximate date of the purchase. We read what we are sent. We do not undertake to reply.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy at any time. The version in force is the one published here on the date of your purchase.
